Course description:
This course will focus on four themes: exploratory analysis, planning of a study, probability, and statistical inference. Students will prepare to take the Advanced Placement Statistics exam. This is a college level course. If students have not completed 476 and 477, concurrent enrollment is recommended.
Required materials:
Textbook – The Practice of Statistics, by Yates, Moore and Starnes.
Calculator – Texas Instruments Graphing Calculator (TI-83+, TI-84+)
