Students in this course are submitted to an intensive regimen of practice of speaking, reading comprehension, listening comprehension, and writing. Students will write well-planned compositions on a variety of subjects. Students participate regularly in discussions of current events and ideas, as well as continue to review vocabulary used in everyday situations and study complex grammatical structures. This course will prepare students to take the College Board Advanced Placement Examination as well as college entrance examinations.Required materials:
